SHINJI'S CLASSMATES
Horaki Hikari
She is the Class Rep. She later becomes friends with Asuka. She also shares
her secret attraction towards Toji with Asuka.
Suzuhara Toji
Because of his sister, he was initially at odds with Shinji. After witnessing
the mental agony that Shinji had to go through, he became sympathetic and became
friends with Shinji. He was later chosen to become the fourth EVA pilot.
Aida Kensuke
A friend of Shinji who is very interested in war machinery. When he heard that
a fourth pilot was being selected, he really wanted to become that pilot.
